Vegeto, formerly known as Eko-Terre, specializes in the sustainable development of natural textile fibers, grown and processed in Canada.

Two plant fibres are currently being promoted: hemp and milkweed.

For its products developed from hemp fibre, Vegeto cottons the fibre, making it suitable for use in North American garment manufacturing machines. The finest fibres will be selected to produce high quality garments and the remaining fibres will be used for composite materials.

Recently, Vegeto introduced an environmentally friendly, high-performance thermal insulation made from a blend of biosourced milkweed and others plant-based ingredients. This non-woven thermal insulation is ideal for the manufacture of winter coats, sleeping bags, comforters, mittens and gloves.
